On its way to Earth, the Nostromo commercial spaceship picks up an urgent message sent by an alien world. Because of this, a three-person team of people from the crew finds (updated) a chamber on a planet that has many eggshells. One of the eggs has an animal inside that attacks an explorer. Everyone on the crew doesn't know what's going to happen when the alien parasite inside its host is born.
This is the square root of all evil, Alien Cubed! Even though I'm just making it up. As a result of the haphazard, self-destructive nature of its production, this film's success is all the more remarkable for the number of decisions made on the spot. To be clear, this does not mean it was a success...
